New blog for the Civil War swabbies

On Eric’s blog this morning, I saw his new post about another new blog – it’s called Civil War Navy, et. al.  By Andrew Duppstadt, it is “a blog about the navies of the Civil War and whatever historical topics cross my mind.”

I look forward to reading Andrew’s thoughts, and the navies is one topic I’ve always wanted to learn more about.  Andrew is the Assistant Curator of Education for the North Carolina Division of Historic Sites, and his wife works for a museum – obviously a very historic-minded family there!  Andrew is also a Civil War Navy reenactor.

I’ve put a link to Andrew’s blog here, and look forward to his posts.
